| About D'Arcy Evans
It all started in
1976 in Alaska, Brooks Range in a Cessna 172 flying over the
Yukon river. I was 16 years old and had made a picture of the
river that was later used in my Junior year in high
school as an example of a meandering river. The image was
blown up poster size and used for several years - not the greatest quality, but the
admiration of my high school geography teacher really got me hooked!
Since those
early days his passion still burns, he has done dozens of magazine
covers, photographed weddings, family portraits, portraits of Canadian Superior
Court Justices, US Senators, Presidents of companies and Chairmen
of the board.

He has done work for the United States Veterans Administration

Contracted photographer for the Marion Ar. Chamber of Commerce.
In 2005 his picture of a Bonobo Monkey was sold to Harcourt Publishing
in New York and used as a center spread for a elementary school science text book.
